What Is A Journal Class

A journal class is a creative and reflective space designed to support self-discovery, emotional growth, and personal expression through journaling. It’s more than just writing! It’s a guided experience where you learn how to explore your thoughts, release emotions, and connect with yourself in a meaningful way.

In this class, we will explore multiple styles of journaling, including junk journaling, vision and goal setting, reflection writing, and guided prompts. This allows you to discover what styles speak to you and create a journaling practice that feels natural and personal.

You will be guided through structured prompts and creative techniques such as free writing, reflection exercises, and expressive page design. These practices are meant to help reduce stress, build self-awareness, and encourage personal growth. All in a way that feels calm, enjoyable, and inspiring.

This class also focuses on creating the perfect journal for you. You will learn how to design and customize your journal, including fun and creative “trick pages,” layout ideas, and even how to bind your own journal if you choose to build one from scratch.

 Each Session Includes:

  • A guided journal prompt for the day

  • Exploration of different journaling styles (junk, vision/goals, reflection, prompts, and more)

  • Creative techniques and page ideas

  • Hands-on crafting and journaling time

  • A relaxed, supportive environment to express yourself freely
